Small business news conference success

It was great to see all the media out at our unprecedented news conference today. We had 14 organizations come together to issue a joint statement on how the NDP platform will hurt employees and small businesses.

We also had a surprise visit from the NDP and BC Federation of Labour, who said they wanted to have a debate. We politely turned them away – just like we turned away someone from the BC Liberal campaign.

Why does it take a news conference for the NDP and BC Fed to get interested in dialogue? It’s the first time in this campaign they have show an interest in talking to us about small business issues. Given the NDP platform’s devastating impact on small businesses, we really could have helped them with advice on how to help – not hurt – small businesses.

Hello, I just wanted to congratulate you on your win. Now you can continue to exploit your workers by paying them far below the poverty level while you drive your new BMW out of the lot. Yahoo! Yay for exploiting hard workers!

Hopefully karma bites you greedy “business owners” in the butt and you lose everything including your shirt.

The next time I see someone who lost their business (where they only paid $6 – $8 an hour) not only will I laugh in their face but I will tell them that it serves them right, that they are useless, unethical and immoral trash lower then a child molester and I wish them all the worst.
